You know what I miss?? Going to grade school on Halloween... I remember back then we all dressed up in our costumes and had a parade in the school gym. Then we got to bob for apples. And my mom making popcorn balls every year!! Times seemed so much simpler back then... sigh

I LOVE halloween I like to make my costumes too. Last year my daughter wanted to pick out a store bought witch costume but she's letting me make one this year (because she wants to be Jessie from Toy Story 2 and their aren't any out there) Hopefully I can get her to carve a pumpkkin this year. Last year she was too grossed out and just wanted to colour/sticker hers.
My little witch 2008
Big Comfy Couch - Loonette and Molly 2007 (Ididnt make the molly dress)
Me and My BFF last year as Betty and Wilma. We go to an oldschool halloween party

I think it might have something to do with the fact that some parents allow their 6 years olds to wear super scary, bloody, gory costumes now-a-days. Back in the day a sheet with holes was a costume and everyone wanted to be the hero not the villain. Im sure its being politically correct too. Just my opinion. It is sad though.
