Depends how you put it on, some just don't stick, but I also heard they use a newer method where there isnt a visible postmark

I also keep seeing posts about it & wondered what people were talking about. This is good to know cuz if someone offered me stamps I'd probably say yes thinking it's a good trade only to be mad when I got a stamp collection I can't use

Over the past few months I've noticed that some people are very offended to recieve stamps that have been used but were forgotten to be stamped by the post office.


Due to this please do not send "used" stamps in a trade unless you and the other party have agreed to do so.

Lets save the surprises for birthdays and Christmas.

I think this should apply to trains aswell.
I'm a train conductor and numoourous times I have gotten stamps with parts of envies styill attched to them. Really? Its less then $.70 for a stamp.

I send stamps from Costco. You cannot see the off white backing (they come in a roll) I just cut one off and send it. OMG I hope no one thinks I have sent them a used stamp

LOL no you can totally see those ones have the right backing, its the ones that were perviously stuck to envelopes that get me. You can clearly see they have been attached to something
