Over the past few months I've noticed that some people are very offended to recieve stamps that have been used but were forgotten to be stamped by the post office.
Due to this please do not send "used" stamps in a trade unless you and the other party have agreed to do so.
Lets save the surprises for birthdays and Christmas. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

It's so ridiculous how some people are not ashamed to be dishonest, I mean if you want to reuse stamps do it when sending your own letters, don't pass your dishonesty to someone else

If they were "used" previously and they have no markings and you can't tell whatsoever that they were used before, and the person who receives them can't tell they were used, I think that is okay.
Although I do not condone re-using stamps, and obviously would want only brand new stamps, never used sent to me in a trade. But I agree, if you are a stamp re-user type, save them for your own use, and don't use them in trades.
EDIT: I thought about it some more, and I don't think re-using stamps for any reason (unless you just tear it off an envelope that you haven't sent out) is reasonable. Stamps are cheap.Last edited by Justine; Wed, Oct 7th, 2009 at 03:51 AM.

Better to remain silent & be thought a fool than to open your mouth & confirm it.

In my office, we often have people hand delivering mail that is all stamped and ready to be mailed, but then someone decided to hand deliver instead. Our receptionist removes the stamps and makes them available for office staff to use on their personal mail - at a cost of 25 cents each. The money raised goes toward our office christmas hamper that we do every year.
Everyone wins in this situation, though some might think it's dishonest to resell a stamp. I think the end justifies the means though.
I'm not so quick to judge those that re-use stamps. In this case, the stamps are re-used, but not because the post office missed marking it.Joining swagbucks will add richness to your life! I've got over $1,000.00 in gift cards so far. Please join me! http://swagbucks.com/refer/Jayne300
