Ive never tried one of these either. But Since NO ONE in my family will do the dinner I have to do it as usual (Easter, Thanksgiving, Xmas, B-days etc.) Im also the only one with kids and I just want to relax and enjoy the morning with dh and the kids. "Cook from frozen" sounds right up my alley this year. Maybe someone else will volunteer next time if it turns out badly. lol!
Sorry to vent. I think the xmas stress is getting to me.

I will be getting one. They are great to have the in the freezer when you need an easy meal. i have to check to see if I have the coupon from the Canadian Living as well. $6 off would be great.

Metro and Metro Plus has the butterballs for 1.29/lb, (2.89/kg) for turkeys between 3-7 kg. Which is a great price, I went to all the local supermarkets round here yesterday looking, and everywhere else was over $5/kg for butterballs.

I don't think this deal is on the west coast. I didn't see it in the flyer all I saw was the PC butter basted turkeys for $1.79lb.

I was able to use both coupons. I asked the cashier and she said sure. My Turkey only cost 9.53 after the $6 off coupons. That's only 85 cents a pound !

I picked mine up today and they were all 7-9kg and average price was about $24 - used the $3 coupon for $21 price...pretty good price for a stuffed butterball.

Got a turkey 5-7kg $17.xx -$3cpn! Cashier would only take the in-store coupon as it said only 1 coupon allowed! Still have the Can Living $3 cpn if anyone needs it, expires 31dec09!

When I was at Loblaws last night (Queens Quay in Toronto) they had a sign up saying that if you bought a frozen turkey (I don't think it mentioned a specific brand) they would donate $5 up to a maximum of (I think) $100,000 to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
It might have been a $10,000 donation....but in any event, the Daily Bread can use it, whatever the amount is.
I don't need one (just me and the BF, and he's a super picky eater) but I noticed it and thought it was a pity I couldn't buy one for myself. No room in my freezer either!
