I am trying to compile a list of vintage stores in Toronto (within walking distance from the train station and eaton centre) that have anything vintage that isnt too expensive for an sc'er LOL
I am planning on spending the day there on my birthday in a few months and I want to hit up all the vintage places! This thread is currently associated with: N/A

The thrift stores always have something vintage? Or H&M?
I Love you; not for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you.

There are some great vintage stores in the kensinton market area of Toronto. You'll have to take the subway to get there though. easy from the train station.
go to St. Patrick subway station. from there walk west on dundas just a few blocks past Spadina to Kensington St. The 'Market' area is well marked. There are many, many vintage stores in the area. I highly recommend it!

Easier way to get to Kensington, is to take the streetcar from Union Station. Go to the lower level (set of stairs at the back, instead of stairs to subway level, take them to streetcar, it's well marked). The Spadina car will drop you off right at Kensington - saves you the walk.
Not sure about middle Eastern stores, tho. There used to be a few along the Danforth (mixed in with Greek town), but not something I ever looked into, so couldn't say for sure.
Let me know when you're coming, I owe you a coffee.

pm'ed you!! I dont have a free place to stay in Toronto LOL all my friends either live with too many other people or dont have the room last time I stayed at a hotel but the staff were kind of rude and it was the best deal I could find in Toronto so not going back even though the hotel was cute and clean the staff downright sucked LOL

Forever21 and H&M are great. also, theres a dress/clothing store on Yonge and gerrard,( just north of eaton centre) called "STAR fashion", its not too expensive (under $30 a dress?) - its worth a look. (heres a review)

Try Gadabout on Queen Street E. There's also Mira's Vintage in the Beaches on Queen Street E., although that has a mix of vintage and consignment (I've picked up Chanel and Alfred Sung there).
