Has anyone successfully ordered like this recently:
Let's say you have $60 in your PP account and ordering something from ELF (let's say 50% off everything). You add $100 of ELF items to your cart and your subtotal is now 100 + shipping = 106.95. Add your coupon, your Total is now $56.95. When you try to checkout with Paypal what happens to you? For me, it is telling Paypal I need to have 106.95 in my account even though the actual charge after coupon would be 56.95! So even though I'd have $60, which will cover the purchase and leave me some change, it asks me to add funds from my bank or CC.
These aren't the actual amounts, but just an example. I do have enough to cover my post-coupon total, but not the pre-coupon (that is the whole point of using the codes!). This has never happened to me before when ordering, but has interfered with the last two times (including the recent 50% off Faves) and as a result I can't order. In the past I've been able to order with just enough money to cover the total-after-coupon.
I tried contacting Paypal, but they said it's the Merchant's issue. I just contacted ELF and they didn't seem to understand, telling me to place the order (meaning I'd need 106.95 in my PP) and then call them to apply the coupon (pointless). It's not that the coupon doesn't work, just that the information between subtotal (pre-coupon cost) and total seem to be getting mixed up, but not quite because once the order is processed, the amount Paypal takes away and gives to ELF is the correct post-coupon price.
I'm not sure if this is just happening to anyone else, but I thought I'd post to find out. I hope my explanation above makes sense, I tend to ramble on and over-explain to the point where it can get confusing :pLast edited by Infernal; Mon, Dec 12th, 2011 at 09:13 PM.

I placed an order ..the paypal glitch is over, I was charged shipping
A new code Save50 works up to a maximum value of $7.50.
If you shop online you probably want to use ebates as well. Ebates gives you cash back. With E.L.F you get 5.5% of your order back. It also lists most of the promo codes you can use. I'm getting 5.03 cash back so that's not too shabby.
