I think it has something to do with the browser used by the recipient.
Easter pics I posted didn't show on some people's walls, and I had one from K. which didn't show on mine.

When this has happened in the past to me, it turned out the person who couldn't see my pic was using IE - but not sure that is the case this time.

It is not something vBulletin built into the software (various reasons for not doing so, won't be in the next update either)
