Where do you look for job postings?

There's a chance I'm going to be moving to Toronto, so my question to the smartcanucks Toronto community is.... What sites do you recommend to find job postings?

I've been at Workopolis, and Monster.ca

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Those are the two major sites. What's your field? If you're in finance, you can also take a look at headhunter sites like Robert Half.

If you know where you'd like to work, trying looking up that company's site directly and look at their "career section". I found my current job by applying directly through the company's website.

I find the best site to look at is www.jobbank.gc.ca and then click on your province.It is basically the EI jobbank and it is updated a few times DAILY with new jobs..you can even refine the areas you want by city or job,and i use it all the time.

Agencies/headhunters can be a good way to go, most positions in my company are filled that way. Some specialize in certain fields, others seem to take just about anything. Altis, Global Personnel, Integrity Canada, Bilingual Source (if you speak french) are a few that come to mind. You'll find more if you view postings on Workopolis and Monster as a lot of what is posted there is posted by agencies, not the company itself.

My problem with a lot of these job posts is how they want 2-5 years experience.
