SDM 20X on Cosmetics and Bonus Redemption

For all of you SDM Optimum members,

From February 6 to 12, Collect 20X the optimum points when you spend $75 or more on cosmetics, fragrances and skincare.

From February 13 to 14, Receive an extra $25 when you redeem 40,000pts and an extra $50 when you redeem 75,000pts, on cosmetics, fragrances and skincare.

Accumulate the points you need to achieve the top levels in order to redeem on the weekend of valentine's day. This would be a perfect time to purchase all you're valentine's day presents and since it is valentine's day, many Beauty Boutiques will be having galas. So call your local SDM beauty boutique to inquire about gala as you can often get free goodies.

Update: So apparently, it's only an extra $10 when you redeem 40000pts and $20 when you redeem 75000pts on cosmetics, fragrances and skincare only. I really hope that there's some kind of mistake.

Bonus redemption on everything in-store or only for cosmetics?

As long as I've been an optimum member, I don't think bonus redemption has ever been on cosmetics only. You may want to call into your local SDM to confirm.

Actually last yr, around Sep, there was a bonus redemption on just cosmetics & skincare. I remeber it well b/c I transferred enough pts so my sister could spend $100 for her b-day.

They have specific bonus points events all the time, where they are only on certain products. However, I have not tried this out myself but, I read all the time that people do this...the register does not know the difference if you buy ONE item from skincare/fragrance etc and then the rest from other areas, and if your total is $50 or whatever, you will still get the bonus points.

If you redeem on specified days you get to buy an extra $25 or $50 depending on your level and your home location.
