I have Toonies for Tummies coupons you wanted from the last meet - the buns (not the Dempsters, I used that one myself...) and Chef Boyardee and my BF found a Lady Speed Stick sample hanging on his doorknob the other day when he got home, so he brought it to me (good boy!!). It's "powder fresh" or something (I only use unscented) so it's yours, plus the $1 coupon that came with it, if you want them.

You're all are going to hate me for this, but one of the "chores" I have given myself this week is to spend the gift certificates I got for Christmas (and before then...sigh). As you know, I've been swamped at work, so I am now going to try to chew through about $300 in GCs. Only I hate shopping for myself (particularly when it's not clearance-time) and I especially hate clothing shopping. And malls. I hate malls. Mostly because they are full of people.

I know, I know...there are infinitely worse fates than having money to spend, and waaah, poor me....but seriously, I don't know what I'm going to do to use them.

Sears ($50), Mark's Workwearhouse ($50 - and the only one I will probably have little difficulty with; BF can always use socks), HBC ($100) and Cadillac Fairview ($100 - from August!!). It's good everywhere in the mall complex, allegedly.

Then another $40 or so in iTunes and maybe $50 in SDM stuff (no problem there!!).

I am hard to shop for. People give me money. But I never have ideas for them to give me stuff, because I NEVER SHOP FOR MYSELF....and then it's MY problem....AUGH!!

No, we haven't discussed one for March as yet. And we definitely need a different venue - I don't think I can handle Brookfield/BCE Place again...too open, and WAY too loud.

Someone mentioned RBC's food court - there's one downstairs from the rest of the mall, apparently (haven't been in there in years). Although I personally think we should go to the Eaton Centre, just to make Sunraven walk further.

What about BCE Place, but upstairs? We could commandeer the seats at the bank in front of the tellers, altho I'd have to be in camoue, since my high school classmate is one of the managers there.

Isn't there a sort of indoor courtyard on the main level, over towards Yonge, near where Marche was (it's been a while since I've been up there )? It's open, but seems quieter & somewhat less traffic than underground.
