    Now here is where the frustration comes in;

    On my first trip I hade a male cashier who didn't know how to ring in coupons in that he told me I couldn't use more than $10 in coupons per visit to the store and that I couldn't stack coupons (even instore with manufaturer coupon). I had him call over a manager who overrode the program and educated the cashier (it requires a manager to manually type in an override code per coupon over the $10 limit). It took forever to get everything cleared up but in the end I happy with the outcome.
    On the second visit I had a female cashier who told me I couldn't stack coupons so I had her call over a manager who happened to be an older Italian female. She proceeded to tell me I couldn't stack again which I absolutely refused to accept. She spoke to another manager who okayed it and then she proceeded to ring in my purchases. I had some french save.ca coupons which she refused to accept stating that she didn't speak french even though I showed her the same exact english coupons I had. I told her to match the coupon codes at the bottom of the french ones to the english ones but she refused this stating she didn't have the time. She even went as far as to crumple up the french coupons I had handed her.........seriously, how disrespectful can one be. When I was paying for my purchases she had the nerve to say that what I was doing was fraud and that I should go spend my money elsewhere, this after I let her decide the rules and be rude and disrespectful to me during the entire time I was having my purchases rung in.......I didn't even hassle her about it.
    Then again today I had a female cashier ring in my purchases....french coupons and all and she allowed me to stack. I thought all was good until I got to the car and realized that I had been overcharged so I had to go back inside to Customer Servic where I went through more trouble again........pretty similar to the trouble I received on my first visit.

    I spoke to amanager I had dealt with on a previous visit on my way out and told her she should send out an instore memo eductaing the employees on coupon usage and redemption on my way out. All she could tell me was that they would take it into consideration.
    All in all, I got some great deals but every time I go to that store the people that work there make my blood boil.

    Awesome shopping!

    My understanding is that you can only use one man coupon and one in store coupon per item at SS.

    So for example on your first item:

    * Venus Embrace Razor minus $2.00 save.ca and $2.00 P&G coupon = $2.99

    if that was those two coupons on just one item, I wouldn't be able to do that at our store. From my understanding, you lucked out being able to stack like that there, but maybe not something you'll be able to do all the time.

    The french coupon thing makes me very mad. I used one at a walmart yesterday to which I didn't have an english one. She just matched the picture. I am waiting for the day that someone refuses a french coupon and ask them if they are prejudiced? And then if its such an english store why is there french on all of the products? I don't speak french but my dh does.

    Wow I have both those Dove coupons but I'm too chicken to use them, I had the same thing sort of happen at Zehrs on Saturday. The manager kind of said well if were going to have our own instore coupons then we should really stop accepting other coupons. I was like whatever, she was questioning my brandsaver coupons. Hey we don't make the coupons we just use them, I wouldn't have been able to keep my cool. Good for you for standing your ground.

    Nice brag! Yesterday, I also used the in-store coup for $1.00 and the $1.50 coup for Nutrium Moisture Dove BW with no problem. The cashier just accepted them.

    I plan on making a phone call to HO.....it would be really nice to know what teh policy is at RCSS regarding couponing. I checked out their website but couldn't find any information. The big problem I have is that it would only take 10 mins to re-educate the staff on those policies but they refuse to do so......oh wells, one day maybe.

    I have to agree....I've had questionable experiences at this location as well...I've also overheard some really inappropriate conversations between a manager and employee there.

    This is straight from RCSS:

    Coupons: A customer may use more than one manufacturer's coupon up to but not exceeding the retail price of the item only if the coupon does not state limit one coupon per purchase. In the event the coupon states something along the lines of “buy xx save $xx.xx” and does not indicate any limits, one coupon needs to be presented per the number of units indicated to obtain the savings indicated.
    Both a manufacture and an in store coupon may be applied to an item - however, the combined value cannot exceed the retail price. I.e. The customer cannot receive cash back.
    Online coupons should be accepted (as long as the coupon indicates the retailer will be reimbursed); the only time an online coupon is not accepted if there is communication sent regarding possible fraudulent coupons. Please note coupons that are photocopies are not accepted.
    Coupons = Little pieces of paper you get FREE from the stores, from reps and from companies (ie: Not gold)
