Hotels in Parkdale...

hey everyone I am trying to find hotels in or very near to parkdale...preferably very near to pardee ave (Liberty Village). I can't find much other than the drake hotel and some other hotel and both are out of my price range for the four nights I have to stay there for the event.

My other option I guess would be to get a hotel somewhere else and then commute which wont be too costly if I just take the streetcar, but I would prefer something close because shows don't end until around 1am-2am from the looks of the schedule, and I have to commute or walk back to wherever I am staying...

I live in Liberty Village and I hate to tell you there aren't really any hotels in the area... There used to be a cheaper place at Queen & Bathurst but it was torn down to build condos... Gimme a bit to think about it and I will give you what suggestions I can...

Rose, when are you going to be there? Depending on the dates of the event, you may be better off cabbing it to and from wherever you wind up staying. The city's hotel rates get to fairly insane levels during high season.

the Gladstone is also nearby the Drake. No idea about the two bars as hotels since everyone I know just goes there to drink.

By the way, ttc ends at 1 am. Wherever you stay, you'll be cabbing it back anyways. CAB it back, don't walk.

Rose, when are you going to be there? Depending on the dates of the event, you may be better off cabbing it to and from wherever you wind up staying. The city's hotel rates get to fairly insane levels during high season.

I have to be there 4 nights April 21st-25th...having a hard time finding places near where I have to be and I was informed that its not the greatest of areas to be in...I was told to taxi it or use the buddy system and walk in a group LOL

I went up a few weeks ago and auditioned!!
does it end at 1am everywhere?? thats good to know so I can program a cab number into my cell before I leave so I can call one and not have to walk anywhere to find one

There are some buses and streetcars that go all night. You'd have to check but I'm pretty sure the King and Queen streetcars aren't on the list. For the all night ones, it's filled with a lot drunk people, esp on the weekend lol.

Getting there, you could take the TTC, but going home, that would definitely be a cab kind of thing.
