By joining the Nielsen consumer panel, you will have the ability to
influence the products you see on store shelves when you go
shopping. Participation is free and easy. They'll send you a
hand-held scanner designed to read bar codes on items that you buy.
It only takes a few minutes to scan before putting your purchases
away. Then, once a week, the scanner transmits your purchase data
to them.

I started almost a year ago, i do do it regularly and i don't mind it. I do wish that the rewards had lower point requirements as it does take sometime to collect them, i am only at 9200 and rewards are well into the double digits. But i have not had any problems with it.

You do earn more points per week over time, i started with 150 and now i earn 200 points per week, plus the extra bonus points. I love doing it, and i do big grocery shops, i go to Costco as well once a month. You also earn points doing surveys.

i tried it. i ended up using it maybe 5 times. i told them i wanted to return in it and they called me incessantly for over a month, even after i sent it back, basically threatening me. I avoided the calls until it got too much and I ended up giving them a piece of my mind about their employees. Definitely not worth the hassle

thank you for posting. i just found this on the web and decided i should see what other peoples' experiences with it were, i think its too much of a hassle for me, with a newborn, 3 year old and puppy, groceries get thrown into the cupboards when we get home. lol i dont need something slowing me down, and im not 100 percent sure ill be using it enough to earn very many points, and i dont need more ppl calling me and wasting my time on the phone. thank you everyone for your input!

Mine is a waste of time. I'm sending it back...the transmissions never go through and it isn't worth the bother to even try to get it working right. I had high hopes but unless I find out I've got lots of points (doubtful) it's as good as gone.
