Badkins, that's absolutely wonderful for you to have done that for that family, thank you so much!!
I think what I loved the most was that you didn't just "give them a fish", you're teaching the mom "how to fish for herself" with coupons.
While I prefer to give to people personally too, I have had it backfire on me, even though I gave with no expectations, even of thanks. Interestingly, that experience helped me to learn that giving truly is its own reward, as you no doubt felt when you were helping out. It reminds me of how deeply grateful I am, and will continue to be, for the blessings I have in my life. And our SC family certainly numbers among them!

I have returned to your post and reread it at least 3 or 4 times. Why?? Because I found it very heartwarming. You did a wonderful thing in reaching out to that family.
