Hey is it really possible to do this? I've read so many times "start early start early" but can it be done? Where do you guys store your things? How do you pack them? How do you remember where you put them? How do you keep track of who you've bought for? What if you buy something you think someone will like, but come November, you see something that you think they'd love too??? Inquiring minds want to know!

I have a huge Tupperware bin that I put gift stuff in - smaller stocking things that I find with really good sales (a bunch of the Fusion razors I got for $2 each, free body wash, etc., for example), clothes for my niece that I am buying way early (just remember to buy for the correct size they'll be in the appropriate season), sometimes gift cards for iTunes, etc. when there are bonus SDM points....that kind of stuff.
It adds up pretty quickly, and it's a big load off your mind when you can throw something together and toss it in a gift bag rather than worry about having to run out and find something.
For me, it's as much about saving time at the mall during the crazy-busy season as it is about saving money. But don't tell anyone I said that, they might revoke my SC membership!

Don't wrap them until December.
Find a drawer to put things in.
And Excel spreadsheet would help if you want to track.
I buy Christmas presents all year along, I see things that I think my friends/family will like, then I just store them till Christmas!
Ah..Its more like saving me from all the crazy crowded people in the mall

I actually like the crazy crowds at the mall. What would Christmas be without the sights and sound of the hustle and bustle?
The carols playing, the long line up to sit on Santa's knee, the Salvation Army bell, the people in line ahead of me buying the same matching Christmas PJs? Ah... I love it all.
I'm with screamy, stocking stuffers all usually went into a bin, now I've organized my storage area a bit more and things are in drawers now by category.
Of course now that I've shared so much with friends and relatives over the course of this year... they will now all know that their stocking stuffers were free. Holy proglides!
