Please post what you plan to bring here, and I will compile them in this post, so it can be a quick concise look at the food list. Might be an idea to have some one do some finger sandwiches or something....ALSO! We need a head count. Can we all try to RSVP soon? Say no later than 5 days prior (exceptions will be made for newbies, but lets try to figure it out so we are not short food, or have 50X too much!)

I will be bringing my son with me (he's only 6 so he won't eat much and you know what I am bringing already + the forgot present for enjae and notpc which I keep forgetting to bring. Remind me.

I would like to extend a specially warm welcome to anyone who has not attended one of our little gatherings. I know it might be a little intimidating to try to come into a group where everyone knows one another, but cast your fears aside! We would LOVE to see some more newcomers!

Here's the quick points:

What: Smartcanucks and friends and family and kids gathering for pot luck lunch and coupon swap. Bring what you can if you can. There will be lots of food and coupons to share!

When: Sunday, September 12th, 2010. Noon to 3:00 PM

Where: In the party room at my apartment building. Corner of Homer and Robson Streets in downtown Vancouver, just across Robson Street from the library. Parking on the street nearby or in pay parking lots nearby. Ten minute walk from Vancouver City Centre and Granville Skytrain stations.

As we get closer to the date I will put together a more detailed info package that can be forwarded to other attendees.

***edit*** For anyone just checking in, we had to change the date of the gathering because of a double booking on my building's party room. So, instead of Saturday September 11th, our Smartcanucks potluck and coupon swap will be on Sunday September 12th. Sorry about the mix up. I realize that may not work for some people but might actually work better for others? It will be an early afternoon affair, noon to 3:00 PM as we planned before.

Oh I so wish I could make it but I lost my plane ticket. If I am ever in Vancouver I will be sure and look you guys up. Have fun and don't eat too much.
