There's been a growing trend to post unbrags and vents in the Brags forum. I would like this trend to discontinue please. The Brags was meant to be a positive place to share people your good/great/awesome results of shopping, couponing, or thanks for something. You can use the Shopping Discussion forum to talk about unhappy shopping trips or if you really need to vent about a product or store, there is the Reviews forum.

All unbrags and posts viewed as vents will be removed to one of those forums by a mod.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

I suppose those "unbrags" could be posted elsewhere??? Maybe in an "unbrag" posting or in the tea room? What do you think Amber?

Boo is thinking on a solution, but for now, we'll stick with the Shopping and Reviews forums. If a topic doesn't apply to shopping, yes, the Tea Room is an option as well.

I hope we can find a suitable place for the un-brags. Not that I like sc'ers to be hassled about their coupon use or have negative experiences while shopping. I like the discussions that follow, I pick up tips from the posters that I could use if this unfortunate situation should happen to me.

I agree. I think the unbragger's intentions are not always to be negative, but to give us all a "heads up" on issues that may arise, or proper usage of a coupon, etc.

What about an unbragging experience in the end turns out to a bragging experience ?

Maybe one wants to brag about something extraordinary but it wouldn't be a brag if the "unbrag" portion of the event was not exposed. What should we do about it ?

Sorry but where ever you put them I will not be reading. I find reading them just put me in a bad mood so I chose not to do that to myself. I know the OP is mostly just venting and not meaning any harm. I just pass over most unbrag post and not read them at all.

Maybe writing about the "unbrag" issue, but mainly focusing on the "brag" would be okay. But posting it as an overall "brag" and no mention unbrag in the title.

I like the idea of an Unbrag section. I find I get a lot of info from the unbrags and the responses.

i think its silly to outlaw unbragging in the brag section.
I think its good to know when people unbrag because it can help you figure out what you can and cannot do while shopping.
Im all for unbragging, if we could make a seperate section specifically for unbragging it sounds good to me.

I agree as sometimes I get some helpful info and then don't waste my time going to a store that is hassling coupon users....

I see a lot of them are reviews or complaints and would be great in the review or shopping discussion section! Thats where they were located before and it was organized, I find everything is in this section now. From lost coupons to formal complaints with Walmart.
