Donating items

I wanted to know if anyone knew of a special organzation that helps families in Ottawa? I have been collecting stuff for awhile and would like to donate it a small place. (something without assistance).

Hmm... my suggestion would be to wait until around Christmas - unless of course you hear something sooner! At work and my church, families get sponsored for food & gifts. I'm sure whatever organization arranges that (I can't for the life of me remember) would love to receive donations! Actually, I'm sorry that I missed out on the Secret and Ribbons body wash deals, as I would have grabbed a bunch for donating!

Churches? But then again, churches give out to who they want to
Ask around your neighborhood! or your family, if they know of anyone going through a rough time
