Made My Week Kijiji Brag

So last week I posted that I had found the Dora Castle at RCSS for $13.94 (reg. $79.99). I was OVER the moon about this and in my haste to "Start The CAR!!!!" I forgot to check for the clearance on the added furniture and accessories.

Well I finally had a night of "me" time and started browsing Kijiji for some Dora themed toys to go with the castle-not expecting much-well I was awestruck when I came across this awesome ad.

All the stuff in the photos (Dora castle carriage, characters, notice the Dora HOUSE!!! and the Nursery with ALL the furniture) plus many extras I wasn't looking for, like Backpack, dolls, stuffies and the Cash Register (didn't even know this existed), all for $20!!!!!
ACCCCCCCCCCCCCK!!! I was so elated, then I noticed the ad was placed on August 31st, so FOR SURE this had to have been scooped up by now.

Turns out they live about 40 minutes from the posting area of my city, so a lot of people had turned it down, as it was too far......this gets better!

My husband works 20 minutes away from their town!!! So he just had to leave work and go over and pick up! They even stated if they were not home to just leave the money in a certain spot, and they would leave the toys outside in backyard. (Very trusting, thank God they are dealing with someone like me! I would never trust anyone enough to do this).

So now my DD has A LOT of surprises for xmas and it was all for under $40! I just have to wash everything and hide until xmas morning.

Xmas shopping is almost complete. Now if I could just find Justin Beiber for $20, for the oldest DD, I'm set!

I hate that purple backpack.....we got rid of that as soon as we could.....most annoying thing on the planet!

I bought this Dora castle at a garage sale for 5.00 and since bought furniture at Toys R Us. My daycare kids love it. One of my daycare parents gave me the backpack and cash register.This parent has given me 5 or 6 garbage bags full of toys over the past 2 years. Her daughter is here for her last day today.

Great find! Some really good deals to be had on Kijiji. Gonna be a fun Christmas.

As for the annoying sounds commented on by a previous poster...hehe...I'm glad to know I'm not the only parent out there that goes nearly insane from some children's toys and can't wait for them to disappear. Backpack is annoying, but I still found the low level whine of Caillou to be worse. Was SO glad when DD outgrew the Caillou fascination and glad that DD number 2 loved Barney, which, for some weird reason, I was able to live with.

We had a tinky winky teletubbies figure that would say tinky winky all day.

no toys compare to the annoyance of those bought at Radio Shack (now I'm dating myself, lol) but those things were sooo noisy...I lovee the Dora stuff you got, I think its awesome, I love Kijiji too!
