I went to Hellmark and back!

So, inspired by Sunraven I went out to Hallmark after work (epic journey! don't attempt by TTC if you can help it. Easily a mile from Fairview going there, but I took a bus from Vic Park and subwayed home. Much closer to get to bus stop on Vic Park from Hallmark, but a long trip on the bus to the subway.)

oh, and thanks for the tip - i took a big over-the-shoulder paper shopping bag with handles and it was MUCH easier to shop with than a box!

So glad that the shopping bag tip helped! Yay!

Yeah going there by transit was not my favourite part of the whole experience -haha- but the deals were well worth it.

I don't recall seeing those red ornaments there, they are pretty plus the proceeds support a good cause!

was there a very big selection of party supplies?? really looking for cheap scooby doo, spiderman or dora decorations
Is it worth a 1 hour and 45 minute drive???

No Spiderman or Dora. Was Scooby Doo Large and Small Napkins, loot bags, invites. Didn't see any plates/cups but had other Scooby Doo things like blowers etc. (like the kind you blow at New Year's).

There were other party supplies:
Batman: invites, table cloths, plates, cups etc.
Horton Hears a Who
Speed Racer
Star Wars
Happy Feet (were really cute!)
Scooby Doo
Hulk
Iron Man

Sorry I didn't get back to you on this sooner but they will for sure have these again in November as they had them in September and again in October's sale.
