A subscription to Canadian Living is a good one. There are often coupon booklets, i.e. "Clip 'n Save", sent with the magazine. (Subscriptions only, though. Newstand copies don't often include the coupons booklets.)

Homemakers magazine comes with coupon booklets. It is only around $9 a year.

To get the best coupons monthly I get Homemakers, Canadian Living and Chatelaine. There are from the same publisher, so they seem to come with the same cpn booklets.
I also get More and Best Health, but they don't come with many good ones.
Of course I get LOULOU just for the SPC card, but there is the occasional cpn in it.

If you do a search for "Canadian Living", "Homemakers" or any other magazine name in this forum, you can see the kind of coupons that have been in previous issues. I've compiled that information into a thread here.

The above post is awesome! Thank you. May check out the magazines at the gym to see since no one takes the coupons out!

Does anyone know about the possibility for coupons or coupon books in Flare? Another Canadian one that I noticed because of the Shopping Channel deal posted on the blog..

I could only find two threads mentioning coupons for Flare, and I updated my post with them Hopefully someone who gets the magazine has more info than that.

Thanks! Guess I could have searched too! But yes, would love to hear about it. Also, sort of related but what are your favourite magazines to read or for other reasons other than coupons?
I currently get some American magazines at my house like Glamour and Wired, and then Macleans also comes....with no coupons...ever. I understand its targeted at a different group maybe, but still, it has ads for all the products that I know coupons exist for! Lol.
I am thinking of subscribing to a good Canadian magazine that has the bonus of coupons and is interesting!

How much can you buy these subscriptions for (Canadian Living, Chatelaine, Homemakers)? Is it really worth it for the coupons? Do you save enough to cover the cost?

Sometimes they go on sale for around 20 dollars. I've seen Canadian living as low as 14 I believe. They come with the bags around them it seems so that would be worth it, I think.
Plus often they give away free gifts with subscriptions, or you can get a decent bonus air miles offer through rogers subscription service.

If you like the magazine anyway it would be a bonus to get the coupons as well. I don't know that I would buy it if I wasn't planning on reading it because I'd feel bad for the environment.. LOL.

Sometimes there are offers where if you buy a certain product, you get a subscription to a magazine. There is an offer going for a magazine subscription WYB2 Pronamel products at Shoppers. Also, if you buy specially marked boxes of General Mills cereals, you get a code you can use for a magazine subscription. Here is the thread. The boxes might be hard to find now because the promo has been on since June. If you use the product anyways, then these types of promos are a good deal. If not, you can always trade for the code from someone who won't use theirs - I did that a few times.

I'm thinking about doing the Pronamel one! Combined with the 8000 for SPC card...can't go wrong I think. Even though I'm a self-professed LD addict, I'm sure I can find stuff that I "need" that I don't have stackables for!
It would just be a question of which magazine to choose......

I did this too - I chose Canadian LIving since it seems to come with lots of coupons fairly often.
