There are some older threads on this but I have some specific questions so thought I would start a new thread rather than reviving one from the dead
I have outgrown my dollar store 7 section accordion file and am looking for new ideas but dont know what will suit me
Could you post a photo or description (or both) of your coupon system
What I have seen people mention they use
* bigger accordion file or more than one
* binder with baseball card sleeves
* index card holder
* ziploc baggies or envies
* photo albums
and various others
I often take the bus shopping as M is not home during the day so I don't want anything too bulky as I would like to carry it in my (huge) purse
The bigger coupons dont fit in baseball card holders without folding until you have no idea what they are - how do you work around this
The photo album I have used seem to rip at the plastic sleeve with continued pulling out coupons
I think the index card holders may be too bulky but would like to see someone's - I am also worried that I would drop it and spill my coupons everywhere
at this point, I have too many coupons for just envies or baggies in my purseThis thread is currently associated with: N/A

This is a video of my binder (oh and for the larger coupons use paper money collector sheets!)

paper money collector sheets seems to be what I am missing (and way cheaper than three 4x6 photo album pages)
thanks!

i use these, which are now apparently very hard to find, i bought them at walmart for about $8 each, and they are smaller than the standard size accordion file holders about 6 x 8 they are great for me, but sadly i have too many coupons for just the 2 of them, and they are bulky

I've got a smaller album that I keep in my purse with all my HV, FPCs and coupons that I want with me at all times. I try not to let it get too heavy. My big binder is for all my other coupons.

You wouldnt go in if you didn't have to either - turns out I stayed at home needlessly as my landlord did not show up, if he thinks I am sitting at home waiting for him again on a day I should be in the office he is mistaken - and he is getting a nasty letter tomorrow!
I have seen your album but I knew that was not the extent of your coupon collection

I use a zippered binder that I tote everywhere with me. For the bigger coupons, I used sheet protectors. It fits 2 gocoupon size coupons pretty well. I know lots of people will not want to spend much money on coupon organizer. I think I paid $14 for my zippered binder from WM, then bought hockey card slots and sheet protectors from the dollar store. Most of these stuff would be cheaper during the back to school season. I bought mine 2 days before I had to deliver my baby...lol....and got it all sorted out the same night. hehe
It is worth the money spent, since I happen to come across unadvertised deals in stores many times and my organized binder makes it so easy.
