Welcome LovelyLaeticia and greeke33
Looking like we have a few of you in Ontario which is great - you have some grocery stores that aren`t out west and vice versa so that`s helpful. We can figure out which price match, SCOP (scanning code of practice), etc.
Okay - we have a couple more folks to introduce themselves and then I`ll post another Thing later today. Stay tuned. Can't Beat Free - watch videos / do offers / bonus codes / get $

I've just had a question from a reader.
I'd say that it's just fine to comment/share
.W e'd love drop-in visitors at our tea party, probably best to have most of the posts on the thread from the 21 Things participants.
Also if you're interested in being part of a group (can be at any level if you're willing to participate), pm me. If we have enough people we'll start a 2nd group in a few days.Last edited by Giving-Small; Sun, Feb 13th, 2011 at 01:24 PM.

Hi Everyone,
My name is Andrea. I live on a beautiful acreage outside of Sherwood Park. I recently came across SmartCanucks when trying to find ways to save money.
I have a wonderful and supportive DH, 2 boys (8 & 5) and a new addition a baby girl who is now 3 1/2 weeks.
My dh works full time out of the home and we also own our own business. But at this time, dh is taking paternity leave so any time we can save money - it definately helps.
Thank you Darlene, for doing this. All the time and effort you have put into this so far is just amazing. I can`t wait for more to learn more details of couponing!

Hi everyone!

My name is Susan (obviously, from my username!
). I live in Calgary, Alberta, with my oldest sister Tobi and my cat, Amelie. My sister and I both work full time, and we like to cook (when we're not too short on time!) and love to bake (there's always enough time to bake!). We're 2 of 4 kids in our close-knit family (Mom & Dad live about 5 minutes away, same with 2nd oldest sister & her DH & 2 kids, brother & his DW & 2 kids live 20 minutes away). So there's now 12 of us all together.
Tobi & I found out about couponing after watching the infamous TLC Extreme Couponing show. Then we started looking online for coupons, found SC, and the rest is history! We still have a LOT to learn, we also tend to buy something we think is a really good deal, only to find out there's a better deal next week!
But we love saving $$$, we don't have a lot of extra cash after house payments, bills, necessities, etc. We also were getting sick of leaving the grocery store with 2 bags of food and spending ~$50 each time (and that's without buying any meat!).
Darlene, the video was EXCELLENT! Great job! So informative-thank you.
As for stockpiling-haven't done much yet-once I collect more coupons & set up our downstairs landing with a shelving unit, we may start. Especially things like laundry detergent, household cleansers, etc.
Okay, now that I've rambled on long enough, I'm signing off!
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hello everyone,
My name is Diana and I live in Mississauga - just outside of Toronto. I'm married and a mother of two beautiful girls 12 and 18(19 next month). I just started couponing mid January after watching the Extreme Coupon show on TLC I didn't realize how much you can actually save using a coupon. I always thought it was a waste of time, what are your really saving - a $1 big deal right!? ummm, NOT!!
Well I think I have saved well over $500 to date - will update this tomorrow. With two girls going through hair products, shaving, bodywash, hygiene products, constantly eating - literally finish a bunch of bananas 5 minutes after buying them....yes, I feed them
they are just growing girls!! Oh, and the added expenses of my oldest in University.......and just everyday living - smartcanucks has saved me. I will NEVER pay full price for anything again.
I will never pay for deodorant, tooth paste, toothbrushes, shaving cream, room sprays, ever AGAIN!!
I have a stock pile of shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, dish detergent, room spray, cleaner in general to last me at least a YEAR! Also stocked up on some Campbell's and other food items.
Looking forward to reading all your posts and reading all you brags!!
Thanks for doing this Darlene - looking forward to all the tips, tricks etc!!

Just a shout out to the people who have come on board since my last post on here!
I will agree with everyone, there is lots to learn! BUT once you think you got it all down, you learn something else new and on it goes!
If anyone has a question, fire away! I do not want to take over or hijack the thread/group, but hey if I can help you out I want to!!! Believe me, I asked plenty of questions when I started on here and got fast answers from people!!!
I just wanna help! I have just mailed out two envelopes to two members of this group so they can build their stash's faster!!! Which reminds me, I only PM"d the one person, have to go pm the other one now too!
Ths could be a lot of fun! And a great way to meet new SC'ers too!
POSTINGS FOR CHRIS (theweave) WILL NOW BE DONE FROM theweaves_dad SO PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH HIM THAT WAY. THIS NAME WILL REMAIN BUT WILL NOT POST NOR ANSWER!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone. Hope this day finds everyone well.
I am currently working on my shopping list for LD tomorrow. Hubby is going to stay home with the little one so I can have some time to myself - shopping and saving!
I can't wait for the next lesson.
Thanks Darlene!

Hi All,
I'm interested in learning more too!!
I recently returned back to work after a year long maternity leave. The goal is that once we are finished having kids that I will be able to be a stay-at-home mom. After watching Extreme Couponing on TLC I became hooked!!
I joined SC a month ago after googling couponing in Canada. Since then I have saved nearly $3600!!! I am proud to consider myself an extreme couponer.
We have amassed a pretty decent sized stockpile. We intend to donate well to local charities, and to family and friends.
Glad to see this thread started!
