GRAND PRIZE
There is one (1) Grand Prize package available to be won consisting of:
A $5,000 CDN cash prize for the Grand Prize winner;
A framed certificate for the Grand Prize winner commemorating his/her achievement that will be presented to the winner at the Promise of Music Event (described further below);
Attendance at the Promise of Music Event, including:
One (1) ticket to the Promise of Music Event at The Royal Conservatory of Music, 273 Bloor Street West, Toronto, Ontario on May 13, 2011;
Round trip economy airfare for the Grand Prize winner to the Promise of Music Event on May 13, 2011 departing from the Canadian international airport nearest the Grand Prize winner’s residence to Toronto, Ontario (departure and destination airports, carrier and airline ticket class to be chosen by the Sponsors in their sole discretion), including ground transportation for the Grand Prize winner to and from the airport and the Grand Prize winner’s residence or hotel in the City of Toronto, as applicable. Without limiting the foregoing, in the event that a Grand Prize winner’s residence is within driving distance of Toronto, Ontario (that is, 100 km or less from Toronto), car transportation (or mileage allowance) for the winner to and from the winner’s place of residence and Toronto, Ontario will be provided;
Up to two (2) nights’ hotel accommodations (standard room; single occupancy) during the Promise of Music Event for the winner in Toronto, Ontario (dates and hotel to be selected by the Sponsors);
$75 CDN spending money per day (maximum two days) for meals and other miscellaneous expenses while in Toronto, Ontario, for the Promise of Music Event;
Attendance at the Royal Conservatory of Music 125th Anniversary Event, including:
One (1) ticket to the Royal Conservatory of Music 125th Anniversary Event that will be nationally televised on a major television network in September 2011 and during which the winner will accept his/her Award. Acceptance of the Award will take place either in the form of a “live”, in-person acceptance during the Event, or a pre-taped acceptance that will be aired during the Event;
Round trip economy airfare to the Royal Conservatory of Music 125th Anniversary televised event for the Grand Prize winner departing from the Canadian international airport nearest the Grand Prize winner’s residence to Toronto, Ontario (departure and destination airports, carrier and airline ticket class to be chosen by the Sponsors in their sole discretion), including ground transportation for the Grand Prize winner to and from the airport and the Grand Prize winner’s residence or hotel in the City of Toronto, as applicable. Should the Royal Conservatory of Music 125th Anniversary Television Event or the Promise of Music Event be cancelled or postponed, no substitution of this portion of the Grand Prize, including related travel costs, will necessarily be made.
Total approximate value of the Grand Prize is $8,500 CDN
