This is an interesting article: http://www.littlecountryvillage.com/free-seeds.shtml
I recently bought a pack of jalapeno seeds for 2.49 and noticed they looked exactly like regular seeds you find in a jalapeno.. I was wondering if they might look different like they were matured more or something. I probably should have just bought a jalapeno for like 15 cents and planted the seeds from it, plus eat the outside! I'm going to try planting some tomato seeds from a fresh tomato and see how it goes http://www.ehow.com/how_5581958_grow...ato-seeds.html

A few days ago I scooped the seeds from a couple of cherry tomatoes into a shot glass and rinsed them in tap water. I changed the water a few times over the last couple days, and now some of the seeds are starting to sprout! I'm planting a few into seedling trays now and hoping for the best
