Our fridge is an important appliance in our homes. We all have one, and they vary on the contents inside. We rely on these objects and what they hold inside for our nutrition and energy. Let's face it they are all different too and constantly changing. It can be considered a work of art.


The fridge can take on different views depending on how hungry you are and what you want to eat. The late night visit to the fridge might have a different perspective than the early morning opening. Lenzr wants photography lovers to consider the fridge a work of art with the What's in the Fridge contest. Submit photographs using your imagination and your fridge. Explore your kitchen appliance and shoot some great pictures.

The photo contest prize is $500 worth of the groceries to keep that fridge full of edible contents. This prize is available thanks to a great new printable coupons company and their support for photography. They like to share.

You can begin to upload your photos now because the contest started on April 1, 2011. Be sure to have your photos entered online by May 15. That's when the voting starts and from there the top ten ranked photos advance to the Lenzr judges on May 25. Winners will be announced June 1, 2011.

There are 35 photos that were submitted to the What's in the Fridge contest. There are some great imaginative photos. I really appreciate the couple that stuck their baby in the fridge. lol. Well, go through the photos and vote!! Pick your favourite pics because only the top ten ranked photos will advance to the judges on May 25th. The Lenzr.com judges have reached a final decision in the What's in the Fridge? photo contest!

There were a number of fantastic entries--in fact, after the judges deliberated over the top ten, we were left with a three-way tie! We quickly scrambled four impromptu judges together and we are now happy to announce that this shot, called 'Chilling in the Fridge', has won top prize!
