    Just a thought...

The make it or break it in phone purchases for me is the battery! If the battery's are AA or AAA rechargeable batteries then it catches my attention. Many of these phone deals require you to buy new specific batteries that become obsolete by the time your phone batteries needs replacing. Or the battery cost alone does not justify it's purchase and you are better off buying new phones.

Being that I work from home and spend all day on conference calls I also look for a phone that has a headset jack for hands free talking.

I guess it really depends on your needs and phone usage, but do consider that when buying these discount phones.

I currently have a 3 phone Philips set that is 2 years old and has been through a battery swap already. The phone is clear, and I have had no problems with them!

You can buy the replacement batteries off eBay for a lot cheaper. But the reviews on battery life are very good for the Panasonic line.

When you buy a phone the battery type your looking for is lithium ion battery or nickel metal hydrate. if it says nickel cadium dont.
