Never shelling out more than a dollar for bandaids, socks, pens, soap. These days I refuse to pay more than 5$ for a top or $10 for pants. Also no more than 5$ per month for my cellphone. lol

I agree with so many of you on want I won't spend more then a dollar on, canned tomatoes, canned beans, dish soap, pasta sauce, pasta, frozen juice, bread, tooth paste, tooth brushes, tuna tins, soup, and the list goes on. But I would like help on the know how to not spend more then a dollar on laundry detergent? Oh also I won't spend more then a $1.00 per lb on fresh fruits ( eat with their season) and fresh meats I don't spend more then $1.99 per lb on meat in grocery store (whole turkey on sale 0.99 lb, whole ham 0.99 lb) prime rib roasts I do spend more because on sale it's $3.97 per lb. This list could go on but my mind is starting to wonder from thinking so much

My list would be huge! lol
The biggie for me is pasta (which I'm all out of at the moment because of my cheapness towards it) and don't even get me started about ordering pasta at a restaurant... unless that spaghetti is spun out of gold there is no way I'm spending $15+ for something that costs next to nothing to make!

Keep in mind I stack
These are items I will never pay more than taxes for:
Air/fabric freshners of any kind. Cones, sprays, candles, autosprayers
Toothpaste. Colgate Sensitive pro relief, Crest prohealth, Sendodyne pro enamel
Dishsoap. Stocked up on greenworks when those fabulous coupons were out months ago. Hope they come back!
Laundry soap. Tide stacks from brandsaver flyer, and online with all sortsa more coupons from pampers boxes, pampers village booklets, charmin packs, bounty packs.
I also still have a couple greenworks bottles, I just found lol.
Sunlight is an awsome stacker! I have a few $6 stacks for either deep clean, or green clean. Just waiting for a good sale! LD often puts it on for $4.99/bottle.
Charmin tp, Bounty paper towels. Refer to Tide avove for coupon sources (there are more even I think!)
I buy one Charmin pack, usually price matched (most LD's will only let you pm one item now) then one roll of Bounty (6 pack on a great sale week, and with a perfect stack).
Cleaning supplies. Mr clean stacks used to be way better, with Manufacture coupons to stack with BS'ers. Greenworks was another GREAT one. (please come back!) Windex has TONS of coupons, (bogo coupon, with bogo safeway sale this week lol) Scrubbing bubbles (assorment of products), fantastic, scrub free, lysol.
Shampoo. I'm set for months thanks to fantastic loreal Expertisse coupons! ($1.50 tearpad, $2 tearpad, $1.50 ss insert, $2 websaver)
Olay. Lotions, soaps, bodywashes, cleaners, toners, facial wipes. All thanks to Brandsaver, and a short expiry tearpad coupon (expired in April)
Razors. Again, was much easier last BS'er round, as there were a few manufacture coupons for Embrace, and the Brandsavers were very generous.
Female Deoderant. Stocked up last couple BS'er rounds. Glad I did, because now it's alot tougher!
Manly pit stick. Easy peasy. Gillette, Old Spice, or Adidas
Manly razors (fusion pro-glide). This often requires pm'ing, and BS'er stacks.
Clover Leaf flavoured tuna. There are 3 or 4 different variations to the .50 wub2, and $1 wub3 coupons.
Wonder+ simply free bread. There are 6 variations, from 4 sources (newest Smart source, tearpad (blue) tearpad (green) 3 different codes from past issues of canadian living magazine. Each coupon is .75, so up to $4.50 off per loaf.
I think that's it! I have a small stock of all these items. My key is to stock up, when it's free (within reason lol) because coupon policies, fine print, and rotations of combining sales, changes all the time. What if I ran out and had to pay 'gasp' full price!!!!!!

Well I work in town and live out side of the city in a small village. So on my way home I stop by Bonanza and they have pasta on regular price for 59$ for Italpasta, all the time. So for me it would be pasta and fruits. I buy fruits by the case and share with a friend. So a case of straberries are now 6.99$ and grapes 7.98$. So my kids get to eat different fruits even if they're not in season.

I like to calculate on the per/ basis...since all products come in so many different sizes.
On the same basis as TP, what would you guys consider a good deal for Paper Towel and Kleenex?
Toilet Paper:
# of sheets x # of rolls / $ Price = sheets per Dollar
308 x 12 / $2.97 = 1244/$1 = WICKED AWESOME DEAL
Kleenex:
# of sheets x # of boxes/ $ Price = sheets per Dollar
136 x 6 / 4.77 = 171/$1 = good deal??? (based on Great Value brand)
Paper Towel:
# of sheets x # of rolls/ $ Price = sheets per Dollar
74 x 6 / 5.98 = 74/$1 = good deal????? (based on Royale)
???
