coupon meetup in Gatineau

I was wondering if anyone living in Gatineau would like to meetup? I had noticed that people where meeting up in Ottawa but I figured we could start our own group I also speak french so you can post in either language. I have a lot to learn about couponing so a group would be really good for me. So if you have alot of experience or your a newbie like me let's meetup

So excited to meet all of you I'm not sure where exactly we will be able to all meet up since it will depend on the number of people attending. If you know of anywhere that can accomodate a small group, has good lighting and is free let me know. My first thought was Tim Horton's but they don't like people sitting for a long time then I thought of St-huberts we could have drinks and at two it should be pretty empty and it's not to dark.***

Actually I don't believe an Ottawa group ever met yet?! They keep trying to get it together but one thing or another it never works out.

I'm not actually sure how many people are from Gatineau - i know there were 2 others (in fact i seem to think one was a young mum like you)but i have a sneaking suspicion they are no longer active on SC.
However there may be more lurking cos i've seen traces of coupon fairy work in both Gatineau and Hull

The reason I wanted to create this thread was because when I was reading the Ottawa one so many replied and I firgured that I could create one for Gatineau. Not knowing that so few where actually from here. I did not know I was that rare lol...as for the coupon fairy when I was shopping today I saw that random items had coupons taped to them one of each item and was actually wondering if someone was just going out of there way to help others. Wow that's amaising

Not really the right place but thought i'd let you know some deals i've seen:

IGA Montee Paiment- Purina one- trial size 99c.There are apparently coupons out there that more than cover the cost - am not sure wether iga would accept them though,lol

Maxi & cie has the PeachY Olay soap at 2,34$ - there are either $2 coupons or $5 wub2 expire 31 may.

Friday when i popped into Maxi(la savane) they had loads of choccie on sale at 1,96- this includes pc toblerone, pc ferro rocher and those really big pc gold bars of choccie..i'm guessing they still have some left!

Yeah, when I posted that way back in May there had been a few attempts to get a group together without much success, but its great to see that there have been a couple of get-togethers since then! (Sept and Nov) Hopefully there will be many more to come!
