Well it's good it wasn't any of you Karl's on the CG or you probably wouldn't be feeling that great about your getting the chance and then going BUST!

It's just after midnight (Glasgow time) and I'm popping in to say "hi"!! We landed in Glasgow this morning at 7:00 am Glasgow time (2:00 am Toronto time) and we've been on the go ever since.... I got about 4 (or so) hours sleep on the plane, but the adrenaline has been keeping me going ever since... I know we will sleep well tonight - (in a few minutes...)


On of hubby's friends (originally from Glasgow) was back here to take care of some family matters and when he found out we were coming, he offered to pick us up from the airport. It was nice to see a familiar face. He brought us to our hotel and took us on a walking tour of downtown Glasgow. It was great to see it from a "local's" perspective. From there we went for traditional "fish and chips" for lunch and a Glasgow bus tour in the afternoon. We stopped at one of the museums on route and checked out the AC/DC exhibit. It was really cool. I took some pics of some Bon Scott letters and some other cool parts of the exhibit that I will post when I return.

Tonight we went to dinner at the "Red Onion" restaurant. This was one of Dominik Diamond's recommendations. Domenik did a TV show with the main chef at the restaurant when he lived here. Dominik's buddy, John came out and chatted with us for a little bit. He hinted that he wanted me to talk about the recommendations on my "review" halloween night. I will mention it to Dominik since I know that although the restaurant was excellent, after the Alice Cooper show, it will not necessarily be the first topic on my mind.... Meeting Alice will be...

I hope everyone is doing well.... I will try to pop in tomorrow from Edinburgh!!
