If I might offer a suggestion, use bacon instead of cheese as your bait.
Pack it tightly into the bait holder.

I can almost guarantee success in catching this rascal.
We live by a ravine and have over the years had problems with mice and this bait has always proved to be the best.

We had similar weather in Waterdown, but after the storms left, the humidity did not go away.
We are still experiencing the threat of more thunderstorms and rain for later this evening.

What i found worked well was peanut butter. Managed to catch a whole family of 5 in 1 night. Snap, snap, snap, another 1 bites the dust.

Same here. The storm has sent Jake into hiding. He has to go out, but won't. I hope it blows itself out tonight, and tomorrow'll be nice. I should check the weather channel.
