Good morning SCers, I hope everyone has been enjoying the shortened week, but these nights are chilly! Memorial Day next week in the states should bring some tourists to town, in search of Rob Ford I presume!
Feeling unknown and you're all alone, flesh and bones by the telephone,
lift up the receiver, I'll make you a believer!
Take second best, put me to the test, things on your chest, you need to confess!
I will deliver, you know I'm a forgiver!

more then willing to trade for the cat i hope to soon have on meds for her peeing problem,
started for no reason,,, and is very depressing.
thinking anti anxiety meds, which i have never had to try before.
kidding about the trading idea, (is a beautiful kitty though), i have put up with this
jessie peeing, and of course kept up with her, except she is too sneaky,
and has been for 4? years - is tiring.
wishing that kitty soon has a terrific home

This morning, my son is attending a funeral. It is for the Dad of a good friend of his who lost his hard fought battle with ALS. A monster of a disease! Her parents retired about 3 years ago, sold their house & moved to a little dream house to enjoy their retirement. It was a short time later that he was diagnosed. How sad & how tragic. He is out of that torment, but his family is left to pick up those pieces & go on. Not fair that he did not get to enjoy his retirement. The lesson here has been told many times before.
Live a life that makes you content & happy & the small stuff that frustrates. should not turn into a grudge. Be frustrated & uptight, but let it go. This advice has been shared so many times & maybe if we say it often enough, we will believe it.... you just don't know what may be laying in wait. RIP Mr. D.

Well, that took an hour to plant one shrub, & I'm done. My back won't take anymore.
I planted the hardest, a Japanese Flamingo Willow, & it's on a hill @ the back of the yard. I figured if I started with the most difficult, any left over energy would go into some begonias, or one of the other easier plants. Not going to happen.
Tomorrow, the Rhododendron.
I figure at this rate, I should be done in the year 2022. LOLLast edited by 22hicks; Thu, May 21st, 2015 at 12:12 PM.

Went to see a Muslim tribute band last night at a Mosque. They were called "Bomb Jovi".
Brilliant songs like “Losing my head over you”,“Rocket Launcher Man”
“You’re 6, You’re beautiful, and you’re mine”
Their last song "Living on a Prayer Mat" almost brought the house down.
Then this dude started bragging about how he had the entire Koran on DVD.
I was interested so I asked him, "Can you burn me a copy?"
Well that was when the trouble started . . . those guys have no sense of humor!
