great name for your beautiful dog jester.
my best boy kitty was named baxter also, nutty guy,
still have his favourite bowl in the cupboard, missing him.

nephew was jealous that baxter had so many extra
names - pretty boy,,, etc.
he would jump up onto the bbq, then the lattice and then the roof,
in order to go to the front of the house and try to get to the robin's
nest - and would also insist on lying on a towel on the bathroom
counter when i was having a shower.
baxter would pat my eyes to wake me up - i have known a lot of kitties
but never one like him, and miss him still.
oh and baxter would (only for the women here) jump up on my
lap when i was sitting on the toilet.
did i mention baxter was nutty?
and am still missing him

Well, my morning so far:

* 5:30 - went out back to let Jake pee
* frost made deck slippery; went flying off the steps
* 7:45 - finally able to get up & back indoors, but frozen
* 8:15 - son examined me; twisted knee, pulled muscles, brused backside, and along with some scrapes, a severely sprained ankle
* can't put any weight on it, can't drive ……………………
* 9:00 - all set up @ my computer, and around a chair in the living room, so I can watch t.v., elevate my leg, and ice it

Oh, I'm having such a good day - NOT

A good psunday morning to all. It is crisp out there & I kinda like it. I am taking it easy today. When I have a few days in a row of being out & about it poops me right out. I am back at the hospital on Tuesday for my once over. This whole cancer thing is a total drain. I consider it to be heartbreaking. We've all lost too many friends & family to *it*. A really nice guy that we had spent time with at Princess Margaret (our kinda little group) lost his battle with that monster. I trudge forward, armed for the continuing fight. I say touche & get on with my day.
