This Thread is Regarding the Hosting of Wish Type Gift Package Trains being hosted in the Train Section.

None of these types of Trains are to have "Official Sc Trains" wording in their title as those Type of Exchanges are managed by AmberLab !

I have been appointed to be in charge of these types of trains in the train section

SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ??

IF you would like to host a Wish Pkge Train please P'm me with your idea and I will be FAIR in choosing who is running them at any given time

I will Post a Set of Guidelines to be followed with ALL of these Trains and you may add additional RULES above The Guidlines if you choose

Only a few Trains may run at the same time...We want them to run smoothly...and ALL riders recieving their Packages !!

IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN AN OFFICIAL SC EXCHANGE YOU MAY NOT HOST A PACKAGE TRAIN AT THE SAME TIME.

I PROMISE TO BE FAIR AND NOT FAVOR ONE SC'ER OVER ANOTHER WHEN REVIEWING ANY REQUESTS TO HOST A TRAIN

--YOU MUST HAVE MORE THAN 50 POSTS...or have someone vouch for you

--you cannot reserve the same person 2 trains in a row

--most pkge trains will now be limited to 20 riders....exceptions can be made


--all riders must post atleast 10 times throughout the entire train or will not be able to ride the next train...

--ALL pkge trains will now have a set price limit determined before/or when the train is posted

--ON SOME TRAINS YOU WILL NEED A HIGHER TRADE RATING AND THEY CAN'T ALL BE FROM VWLT ...THIS WILL BE DETERMINED FOR EACH TRAIN

--Rider List will be checked before seat is confirmed

--no negative ratings **exceptions can be made given the reason/length of time of the neg rating

--must advise how many other trains they are participating in when requesting a seat

--may only ride 1 pkge train at a time ** again exceptions can be made

: if you don't mail on time you will not be able to ride the next pkge train

:if you are not active or do not thank your buddy you will not be able to ride

the next pkge train

:if you have not left a trade rating from a previous train , you will not be

able to participate

If you are a new rider you must have someone vouch for you !

--if you don't send a pkge you will recieve 2 neg ratings 1 from conductor and 1 from your buddy

--you will not be able to participate in future pkge trains if you don't send a gift regardless of length of time

--you must provide a tracking number

--conductor is not responsible for lost or missing pkges

--Sc owner/admins/mods/poster of this thread are in no way responsible for lost /stolen/misplaced gifts

sure...it is where you post an idea/Theme of a type of Train You would like to run...
...you obtain wishlists/ or it may be a surprise from your riders
...the riders are matched with a buddy
...you are actually sending items to your buddy on the train instead of coupons
...it is a bit more costly than regular trains as you have shipping costs...usally $10-$15 but it is a whole lotta fun !!!

it really varies what ppl ask for....it can be anything from scrapbooking supplies/baby items/stationary items/personal care items/candies/coffees/kitchen items...pretty much anything can be put on the wishlists..whithin reason of course...

sometimes trains have themes such as a cleaning train/pamper ourselves trains/spoil our kids/love our pets...
