Even if you live in a small apartment you can have a stockpile. You’ll just need to get creative.
Here are some storage ideas for most types of dwellings:
Home basement: if you have a basement and some spare room, get some shelves (or make some) and consider housing your stockpile there. If you want to go even further with your organizing, use storage bins on the shelves.
Apartment or house living space:
Under bed: keep your items in some under-bed storage containers (or standing alone).
Tall dresser/stand-alone cabinets: consider squeezing a unit in somewhere.
Closets: if they’re all full, consider cleaning out the clutter and neatly reorganizing to make some space.
Top of kitchen cabinets: if you can’t give up any real estate under your bed, in cabinets, or closets, think creatively. For instance, is there any room between the top of your kitchen cabinets and the ceiling? This just collecting dust anyways!
Throughout your home: try the “storage by location” method. This can make things easy on you when you run out of an item (great example: toilet paper we all need this!). So, store toiletry items in the bathroom, food in the kitchen, laundry products in the laundry room, and so on and forth.
