So, as of 4 pm today the Gen contractor said they would not be ready for tomorrow's opening, but all the Loblaws guys said yes. I told DH that they'd better open those doors because there will be at least 30 or so SC's eagerly waiting!

He was also worried that we couponers would overload the cashiers, as they were only trained this week. I assured him that we were all going to be very polite, and patient

I asked every day he was working if her saw one, and he said no. He only went in today to do a couple last minute things, and he was already on overtime, so he didn't stay to look lol. He did say that people were using photocopies of the flyer a few days ago to merchandise, and that they hadn't gotten them in yet.

I asked about freebies, or opening day specials, but all he could tell me was that there would be a man in a banana suit. Woo hoo! LOL.

I bumped the Ontario flyer, which was the same for B.C. and runs until Thursday.

He kinda sucks as an insider though, cause he said he couldn't mix my shopping, with his business. Hate to break it you ya hon, but when you work exclusively in grocery stores, that is mixing shopping with business!

Just sent the kids upstairs to get out of their PJ`s. Only 15 minutes until opening. I will be there just in time! I`m on my way, coupon binder in hand!!! I hope it`s worth it.

Just got back from No Frills. No great Grand Opening specials. Just the same as the flyer. Still good prices though on the produce and Arm and Hammer Laundry for $2/bottle. As well as Chapman`s ice cream novelties $2.97/box YUM!

I posted a little info in the Local section. Lots of Smart Canucks in the store at 9:00 a.m.! I was so hoping they had the Arm & Hammer with OxiClean for $2 as I have the $1.00 off coupons, but no such luck. However...$2 is still a great price for laundry detergent....

You can now find the Surrey store flyer on the No Frill website. I was there today too...the deals last week were better.

All the Black Diamond Cheese slices are gone...lol.

They have the Nestea Ice Tea on for $3.99 and they have the $10 coupons on the label.

Not advertised in the flyer, but the pop [Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite and Canada Dry] are still on for $2/6 710 ml bottles.

The store is pretty nice AND the misting system on the produce...well, words aren't enough to describe its beauty [lol].

Not sure why the heck the entrance/exit doors are so small...
