I think this thread is a place to start, but I can also see it being difficult to look through many pages in order to find out if a member has pending trades (even when using ctrl+f).

If you do a forum search in this forum for the screen name in the keyword section (you can select advanced options and to "show posts" rather than show threads.) Then you'll see all the posts that mention your trade partner's name - whether it was their post, or someone posting about them.

I see there's also a search by tag option. It might be difficult to get people to do, but they could tag the username couldn't they?

I maintain the index of SC scan thread and I think we just go in a nightmare with this one... I was thinking it was a tracking list for trade with newbie on trading (not on that forum)...

If this is for all the trade going around on SC, I'm sure the number of trade will go down and this will become a chaos here.

People do trade, but I'm sure they will not come here all the time to reported what they do on regular basis with other regular trader...

And probably some SCer will avoid some other because they will not wanted to have their username here... etc, etc, etc

Personnally I keep track of what I do, but I will not reported everything here. I have also already remove the SCer username from who I received the envie today. I give to this SCer her trade rating and I consider letting her username here is a duplicate info that we don't need.

But I'm not sure people will do that kind of up-date on that thread. This is why I think we go to a nightmare.

I don't really care about my trading business being posted, but I feel like this thread may hinder a newbies ability to get themselves a good trade rating. How many people are going to say "oh nevermind, you already have x number of pending trades so I'll trade with someone else"? Trading with many people while you have large amounts of coupons is probably the best way to get your trade rating up. If I have to start waiting for all of my pending trades to arrive - my coupons will expire before I can trade them.

I see the good intention here, but I also see how it's going to negatively affect the experience trading will be for people with lower ratings.

I cannot speak for everybody else, but personally I am more concerned about people who have an excess of HV/FPC trades going on. I would trade with somebody who had a bunch of small trades going on, but if somebody has a lot of high valued trades going on.... I'd rather know about it beforehand!

Its not an attack on newbies at alll! If anyone pays any attention to me at all they would know that I am very supportive of newbies. Its for novice traders. Look at my feedback! I have a low score and could get on this list too!
