Well, I never really know in advance how full any given boat would be. And when I said "a couple" I really meant me and one guest. It's mostly show up and see if my friend is captaining and if he can let me and a guest on. If he's already had a couple of guests, it's try again another day.
I have a friend works for KRock, he often has tickets for the three or four booze cruises they do each year. If I can score extras, I will. But if you join the KRock and Kix websites, there are lots of chances to win tickets on those boats. The whole boat is a give away, and even if you don't win on a call in, they are emailing people last minute to give away tickets that weren't picked up.
