About ebay's 28%

Im a little confused of what that means.

I went through here and bid on an item that was 69.99
so Im not sure what the 28 percent means.

Is this a stupid q?

It states '28% of commission' I believe... so I think you get back 28% of whatever ebays selling comission on that item is. It will take a few days to show up, do let us know what you get!

Yes I believe you do, since ebay makes commission on all items sold, even buy it now.

If it is 28% of Ebay commission , bid on items with a "Reserve Price" , gallery view , etc. Ebay charges higher percentage commissions for them!
