Fri, Nov 23rd, 2007, 10:54 PM #22Yikes! That's a lot of money
i dont know why its that much though. my careers teacher thought that maybe it was a private school. but i dont know if i actually want to go there if its THAT expensive.
i'll probably end up choosing between Seneca, Fanshawe, or this other tech/art school in Toronto.
The school councilors at my school told me i should have a back up plan so im guaranteed a solid career. so...that's it!

$7000/year for Centennial, Humber, or Sheridan?
From what I know, that's about double the typical tuition for Centennial
but I believe we're quite fortunate in Canada already. The tuition for most degree programs is around $5000/year. Just more renowned institutions like U of T, Queens, etc. charge $1-2k more for the name.
My friend's kid is studying advertising in L.A., the tuition is $110,000/semester... $220,000 per year (International student and private University).

$7000/school year (Fall and Winter sem) is okay... It costs me around that much and I know some international students are paying almost double.
College is cheaper than university.

As long as you can find work after you graduate, it's worth it. I graduated from university and can't find related work years later.
