I was just wonder if anybody has any experience with these company. How's the reception and voice quality?

I am currently on rogers and would like to switch to Wind or Mobilicity for their $45 unlimited plan.

I live in Scarborough and often/sometimes I travel west towards Oakville. These places I am 99% will be in these areas and really rare I leave the major city areas so I am not worried about their smaller home coverage.

    thanks,
    Melanie

I am with Wind Mobile ..

I don't have any issues with them . I am glad that I am not with Rogers , Bell or Telus & their ridiculous plans which rip you off .

Both Mobilicity & Wind Mobile have good reception in Scarborough ..there are a couple of bad spots but for most parts its good & improving .

But I think Oakville will be a problem for you as the reception in these areas is not that great so far

You can try both of them out if you want ( before you commit to them ) ..as they have a 30 min used or 14 days return policy . Just buy a cheapo phone on PAY BEFORE & check ou the signal strenght ( bars ) & quality in your area & return the phone for a full refund if you are not satisfied .

Right now WIND even has a $ 200 credit for new customers ..& Mobilicity has 50 % OFF on their plans ..so a great time to try them out .

These guys were bad initially reception wise ..but they are improving day by day as they put up new towers .

I think you will have problems in Oakville.

If you check out the mobilicity website, last time I checked, Oakville is not covered by them.

Also, I have not gotten any signal when I've personally been in Oakville.

Wind and mobilicity have weaker signals that may not penetrate buildings as far / deep as the big three providers.

However, I'm paying less than $25 month, including data, so I can put up with the inconveniences.
