    I really enjoy baking, but I also know that I sometimes eat for comfort. I baked my healthier monster cookie squares on Saturday, some are in two containers in the fridge. Last night I used the same 9x13" pan to bake apple crisp. Dh has surgery tomorrow. I know he'll be fine, but I'm not looking forward to it or the first few days of recovery.

    Yesterday I baked oatmeal fruit squares, I've used the recipe before but did a different fruit filling...Dh and I both didn't love this variety. I also baked a cheesecake with chocolate crust, and 9 individual cheesecakes with a home made oatmeal coookie base.

    edit: I also made a pan off puffed wheat squares on Saturday.

    Today is dh's first day back to work since the surgery. The surgery didn't go quite as planned, so he's not completely done healing yet. He took over the counter pain medications with him to work and I reminded him to take it easy.
