Has anyone had problems using them in stores, other than gas stations. Let's say I go to Walmart and buy stuff or want a Walmart gc, can the cashier refuse to take it? (because it says pre-paid gas card)

I have quite a few of these and they expire March 31

There should be no problem as they are just a prepaid credit card and what the plastic says doesnt' matter, they just have to do the $5 at a time, so if they know how to do that it shoudl work fine.

I received 3 of the gas cards last week and used them towards groceries without problem. Just remember to validate them online before your first use.

No issues using them anywhere - I have used mine at Tim's, walmart, superstore - you just got to remember to let the cashier to punch it in as $5 for each one

When I activated my card today it said you have to pay the diffence before taking off the card. It said you cant use them at the gas pump or on other purchases. I use mine for gas anyway so Im thinking maybe they caught on!

I couldn't find the forms so I called Kellogg's and they had sent me 5 forms and got my free $5.00 gas cards.

Most retail stores will not allow more than 1 credit card per purchase (I know where I work, we can't), and these Gift cards are technically a credit card, so same rules apply...it's to deter fraud...

I've been using mine on small purchases, I pay the difference in cash and then the last $5 with the Mastercard. Used at Walmart, Shoppers, Fortino's and I think somewhere else too.
