If you have put something in your grocery basket and then decide you don't want it...DO NOT STASH IT ON A SHELF SOMEWHERE ELSE IN THE STORE!!!
I can't believe how many perishable items (meat/milk/cheese) were left on shelves in other departments. If you don't want the item or are short on cash just give it to the cashier and tell her/him you don't want it.
You will pay for it one way or the other in the long run because the cost of spoilage will come back to the consumer in higher grocery prices.

It always amazes me when I see things on a shelf where they don`t belong. Are people really that lazy or what is the reason for it?

I always put it back when I find it!

GRRR, definitely a pet peeve of mine. The worst is when you find something on the clearance rack only to find out it doesn't belong there. Some shopper had changed their minds and just left it there! Very frustrating
