I was just at pharma plus on eramosa, went to stock up on the degree deoderant that was on sale from friday til today. I had a few 50 cent off coupons, which would have made them 1.50. The cashier wouldnt take them because my coupon said cannot be combined with any other offers. I was a little shocked i have never had this happen to me before. Has anything like that happened to anyone else? I know i have used coupons on that type of sale before and dont most coupons say that??

Yes - my sdm won't accept coupons that say that with sales

I have had that problem at Pharma Plus before that seems to be their "phantom coupon policy" interpretation.

Now SDM, I called Head office when that happened to me and they told me that was not right.

i have never had a problem with pharma before, maybe because i usually go to the downtown one?? and i pretty much did the same thing today at shoppers with their sun/mon sale stuff....used a coupon on the st. ives....so i dunno. I did question the lady and she just mumbled something about how that "stupid couponing show" has ruined everything.....
my boyfriend made me bite my tongue and walk away

I have had success at Zehrs before "stacking" a coupon zone coupon along with a manufactures coupon - the cashier was unsure but the manager assured her it was fine.

i stay as far away from pharma on eramosa as i can, they are miserable with coupons in there. I will not go back ever again.

I had an upleasant experience there myself last week...although it was my fault. I tried to get the 3 cans Gilette shaving cream $1.50 free with the Gilette $5.00 coupon but because it was an overage they wouldn't allow it.

The last excuse I need....from now on I'll just price match everything at WM and be gone with the other stores!!
