They wont PM rexall either. Go to WM
The sign said buy 2 get 1 free but I only wanted one.So I took the free one.

somehow you will need to ask the flyer boy to drop off extra flyers to the people that live in the basement lol so when they do tear up your flyers you will have more

You can just get more flyers inside the store.
I also tried to PM SDM at Freshco and No Frills this week - no go. FreshCo cashier told me that they don't PM drugstores. NoFrills cashier told me its a square footage thing?
I'd like to know these exceptions in their overblown Guarantees B E F O R E planning out my trips so they don't waste my time.
Are there any such lists posted?

I was at FreshCo today and the cashier told me they only PM grocery stores close to them at their discretion. They do NOT PM stores like SDM, Giant Tiger, Canadian Tire and Zellers. This is from the store here in Brantford.

Freshco is lame - went to PM rexall and they said no - considering rexalls been around much longer than them? I`ll price match freshcos flyer anyday then to actually shop there. Plus the managers a real

I have been pm at Frescho for awhile now, and had even emailed them once because for 3 weeks straight, i would go there to shop and the and there would be maybe 2/3 items to pm and the rest were empty shelves, well today with my flyers intow everything went well until the cashier called over the supervisor/manager and guess what they no longer price match asparagus! when i asked for the store policy she just told the cashier to let it go, but next time no, I got a pretty weird look from the supervisor, I got the feeling like "here she comes again"
Then I heard her tell the cashier something about the water, but I didn't catch what she was saying....I PM two cases water!!
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET STORE POLICY FOR PM AND COUPONS?

freshco's so lame, everytime this thread pops up freshco irritates me lol
i always price match at no frills, i get extra pc points for things i wouldnt get at freshco so why not!The sign said buy 2 get 1 free but I only wanted one.So I took the free one.

I had a similar experience at FreshCO today. They told me that they only price match 2 of any particular item, AND that they don't take WEBSAVER coupons... WTF? BUT They DO take Save.ca coupons. Their PM Policy seems very arbitrary, and I will most definitely be contacting their head office.
Also, the head cashier that had to come over to do the PM was a total , and treated me like a piece of crap for using coupons and PM'ing.
I will NEVER shop at that chain again, and will warn others to do the same. What a sh!t store chain! UGH!!!!

Im a supervisor at Fresh Co. At Fresh Co. only supervisors/managers can do price matches because we have so many rules. Heres a few tips if your thinking about PM at any Fresh Co.,
1. There is a limit. Head office says 2 of any one item but some stores will okay other amounts (My owners let us go up to 4)
2. Like I said, only a number of people are allowed to PM so be prepared to wait a minute or two (not forever though, that post above is ridiculous. our manager would kill us if we did that..)
3. We only PM "grocery store competors" - so grocery stores only. We will do Walmart because they have a grocery store inside of them, but not Zellers, any drug store or Canadian Tire (we dont have a giant tiger or RCSS near us so that I'm not sure about..)
4. We are given a list from head office every week that states what is on the cover of every store we can PM with and whether or not we are allowed to do certain items, or in some cases what we are subsituting. EX. if someone has a no name product on, which of our products were allowed to do for that price ect. The list doesnt always make sense. Sometimes head office says we cant do something when in the past we've been able too. Either way that list is like our bible. We have to follow it or we could be written up
5. Our policy changes all the time. HO cant make up their mind on many things. A big one now is not only does it have to be the identical items but now it has to match in other ways too. like said above we usually do not to asparagus as most other places price by the bunch, we do by weight. same with some meat. a lot of ours has changed to set prices while other stores do by weight therefore we cannot match because the computer will not allow us too.
