$50 rebate when a program registered contractor installs a programmable thermostat.
$100 rebate when you replace an existing furnace with the purchase of a mid-efficiency furnace with an Electronically Commutated Motor (ECM).
$250 rebate when you replace an existing furnace with the purchase of a high-efficiency furnace with an ECM.
$350 rebate when you replace an existing central air conditioner system with the purchase of an ENERGY STAR®-rated central air conditioning system or heat pump.
$500 rebate when you replace an existing furnace with the purchase of a stand-alone CEE "Tier 2" level central air conditioning system.
$600 rebate when you replace an existing furnace and CAC with the purchase of a combined mid-efficiency furnace (with ECM) and a replacement ENERGY STAR® CEE "Tier 2" level central air conditioning system or heat pump.
$750 rebate when you replace an existing furnace and CAC with the purchase of a combined high-efficiency furnace (with ECM) and (replacement) CEE "Tier 2" level central air conditioning system or heat pump.

Only Ontario residents can participate in the Cool Savings Rebate Program.
To qualify for the Central Air Conditioning system, furnace and/or programmable thermostat rebates, you must:
- Already have a CAC system or furnace installed in your home. People who don’t have CAC systems or furnaces do not qualify for this rebate.
- Purchase the system and have it installed by a program registered contractor.
- Have the system installed between April 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007.
- Mail in your Program Checklist and invoice postmarked no later than February 1, 2008.
