.. uh-oh, that means some "not so nice people" will be stealing all of them from the packages (without purchasing any of them)!!
Not as easy as the Sunlight Detergent offer. You have to make a pretty significant rip through the thickest part of the packaging which might be a deterrent for some people.

As it is I'm unlikely to be able to do the analysis the next 2 weeks possibly 3. Feel free to jump in and do it yourselves.

That's true, for some! I remember a post last summer about people tearing open packages of diapers and taking the coupons! Just awful.

Well, I purchased the paper towel yesterday at Safeway and at first my hubby and I were going to get the 2=6 (2 rolls but equal to 6 rolls). When I looked closer it said 210 sheets. When I did the math on the 6 roll pkg (44 sheets per roll) I realized that the 2=6 roll pkg had 54 sheets less!!!! That's a HUGE difference! I say, buyer beware! (I'll post this in the "shopping section" as well)

    Got a full 90 AMs for 3.

But, Duh!!!!!!!!, I forgot to take my Kashi coupons!
I tried the same thing -- B3G50 in the flyer + the B3G40 email coupon. Bought three boxes of Kashi. My receipt shows the automatic 50 ams from the flyer, and it also shows the B3G40 coupon (PLU 3469) was scanned, but I don't see the extra 40am actually credited. I phoned Safeway just now -- 1-800-SAFEWAY (723-3929) -- to get them to add those missing airmiles. Hey, 5 bucks is 5 bucks!

The coupon is ONLY for Toasted Cinnamon. I bought 3 today, used the coupon and got 40 (+50) AM.

The Kashi coupon this week says Toasted Cinnamon on it, but they had the same coupon last week that didn't say that. I think they made a printing mistake last week. Called safeway earlier and it sounds like they'll credit me the 40am.

But I might have to try again this week and get some Toasted Cinnamon this time. Cereal goes fast in our household -- and you can't beat the price with the airmiles discount factored in!

Since OperaBob's taking a short break, let me test something new. This is an experiment, not sure it'll work, but here's the list of Safeway Airmiles deals for this week (Feb 3-9) in a spreadsheet on google docs. I basically just copy-pasted from Safeway's text version of their flyer, then added a few formulas to calculate the Item Price the way OperaBob shows it (eg: Benylin 8.99/6.79/6.24 -- regular price 8.99 drops to 6.79 with their B2G40 airmiles deal, and drops further to 6.24 with their B4G100). "npg" means no price given in the flyer, but you'll see a negative number indicating the discount value. Airmiles are valued at 11c. I might try to make this cell edit-able so people can change it to suit them. Don't know if that's do-able in google docs.

There's also an indicator of how much "bang for your buck" you get -- ie: lower dollars spent to get more airmiles. "GREAT!" is the best, "OK" is, well OK, and if it's blank it means it's relatively expensive to get each airmile. (But it could still be a good deal if the Unit Price with airmiles discount makes the product less expensive than competitor stores). Shop around.

    Hope this helps!

saw today Windex at safeway 2.99 and B2G20 airmiles. There's a new coupon in the latest smartsource for Windex B1G1 free. Can it be used? It is a good deal?
    Thanks
