Ya my toysrus purchase on may 8th just gave me the base points then yesterday the 10x coupon was posted with a date of may 22nd. I kept all my receipts showing I completed 6 of the coupons by may 8th incase they try to screw me.

Hope so as there'll be enough now for 2 return tickets to Palm Springs for next winter with enough points on my credit card for a 4 week stay at a spa already.

Heck, even got enough points elsewhere for about $250US worth of goods at Whole Foods.
Ya 5/6 are now fully on my account as well. Now I bet we have to wait a long time for the bonus to get posted and how many people get left out because of the 60,000 limit. I'm still waiting for the airmilesshop bonus I did two transactions so I think that's 150.

what I have in the account will either be spent on the e-auction if that ever happens or 2017 flights.

I used a bunch of my personal coupons at Safeway today and only the coupons with money off went through, the coupons that I gain air miles on were scanned but the receipt doesn't say that I earned the air miles, do I have to wait or should they go through automatically?

I used one on Friday and the airmiles for it showed up on my receipt right away.

Always check your receipt before leaving the store. If anything is missing take it to Customer Service. If possible, instead of getting them to write up the missing miles in the book ask them to do a "Phantom Refund Resale" to get your miles into their computer system..

See you can get some bonus AMs buying a few GCs through Airmiles.ca. Not many though.

Bought 2 Ultimate car washes at Shell today. Normally $10.99 they have 2 for $20 plus get 20 AMs. When the girl rang it through though she told me I got 40 AMs but it never shows on their bills. Have to wait and see.

Just a thought on the recent 1,250 promo.

One of the coupons I used was for NextIssue $9.99/mo, first month free, need 3 paid months to qualify, get 100 AMs for signing up bonus.

My local library allows us to sign out 12 videos/mo digitally (24 between my wife and I) at no additional charge. Sure, they are not the most recent and it's a bit of a pain scrolling through all the offerings but still a wide selection.

So scrolling through the digital offerings I discover "Zinio for Libraries". It's a free digital magazine source similar to Next Issue. Not quite as wide an offering but up to date and most of what I like to read anyway.

Check your local library for something similar.

I am new to airmiles. On Safeway flyer (starting this Friday) I saw 10% off or 20 X airmiles on minimum of $35 purchase. Does this mean "out of pocket" or "subtotal before discount/coupons?

and how much $1 spent worth of airmiles?

    Thank you!

The 10% or 20Xs only applies to "base miles" which is 1 per $20 spent. 98% of the time you're better off taking the 10% cash rebate.

Every teller is different. I usually tried to get them to do the 10% first then the coupons to get a slight advantage but most prefer it the other way but we're talking pennies here.

Sorry - I haven't had a chance to post about this before now...

The Air Miles Smile Booth is doing it's final stop in the Vancouver area today. If you're downtown, check it out. You're guaranteed to get a prize.. if you're Gold/Onyx you get something good. I've done the past 4 locations and have 'won' - $50 Iris gift card, Nikon Camera, Brass telescope, $25 Rexall Gift Card ... hoping for $250 Rexall Gift Card today!
