I am glad I didn't end up getting more cereal with the $5 gas card. A pain to fill out and mail off. Limit 2 cards per household and limited quantity. Always a risk of not getting the gas card in the end. I guess they don't want to make it too easy by allowing people to submit the PINs online.

2 boxes/PINs = one prepaid $5 gas card. Also bought 6 earth works items plus Astro yogurt (BOGO free). Incl tax $55.45. 222 am = about $44 (if 1 am = $0.20 for reward flight) plus $15 in gas cards. Good deal.

I walked by a panhandler outside safeway and thought about giving him a box or two of cereal but he was dozing (middle of afternoon) so decided not too.

I may hit another safeway later today or tmr to do the same.

I see Rexall has a B$50G40 on restaurant gift cards. All look to be CARA:Swiss Chalet, Montana's, Kelsey's, etc.

You could then use these cards to maximize other point offers such as Scene or BCAA promos.

    Hi guys,

For the gift card offer, it says limit one per transaction. Are they strict on this? What if I wanted to buy 2 gift cards from the same vendor or even two different vendors? Does it have to be separate transaction still? I'm thinking of bringing my mom to the Keg/Cactus Club for some brunch using gift cards. =)

Yes, you would have to make separate gift card purchases at Safeway to get the bonus airmiles on each card. These purchases can be made back to back, in the same store. Load gift card, pay, repeat. The cards can be used together at the same time at the restaurant though.

If you're referring to the Rexall GC offer run them through as separate transactions and you should get extra AMs.

The Restaurant gift card deal (40AM) is only on the Ultimate Dining Card - this is from Cara Restaurants (as shown on the sample gift card in the flyer). Keg and Cactus Club aren't part of this group.

You could also double dip the CARA GC through BCAA's restaurant partners. (Whether you could triple dip in combination with the SCENE card??????? Unlikely but it can't hurt to try).

Actually I'm thinking this might be possible in the following situation.

Claim the 2 Can Dine for $15.99 BCAA offer when ordering.

Present the Scene Coupon for 30Xs points when paying.

    Is it 2 Scene points/$1? I don't recall????

If you spent $20 before taxes it would be 2 x 20 x 30 = 1200 Scene points worth a free movie with 200 left over.

    If it's 1 Secene point/dollar you'd still pick up 600 points.

    I think it's 1 scene point / $3.

Buying items to drop off at the Edmonton donation centre for the Fort McMurray fire evacuees. If you know of any cheap toiletry deals available in Alberta, please let me know. I've already gotten a bunch of toothbrushes and toothpaste, but willing to get more, deodorant deals would be good!
